Building Educator Capacity to Teach Arabic
As part of QFI’s continued support of the teaching and learning of the Arabic language through educator capacity building, QFI welcomes all attendees to the first Ireland Arabic Education Institute. QFI established this institute to directly organize a teacher professional development event that supports and builds a network of Arabic educators in Ireland.
About the Institute
Attendees are a mix of primary and secondary teachers who are seeing firsthand the impact of Ireland’s language education reforms shifting towards proficiency-centric desired learning outcomes.
This institute’s focus will center on teaching Arabic in an accessible way for students with proficiency at the core and using CEFR scale standards, as well as empowering educators to improve their teaching knowledge and confidently teach in their classrooms.
