Open Call: Proposals for Research in Primary and Secondary Schools

QFI invites researchers to submit proposals for original research or action research addressing key questions in Arabic language education for school-aged learners.

QFI Classroom Enrichment Grants

Classroom Enrichment Grants (CEGs) provide up to $1,000 USD (or equivalent amount in GBP/EUR) to support primary and secondary (K-12) teachers from public/state-funded schools in North America, United Kingdom, and Europe.

CEGs support teachers to purchase resources, instructional materials, and in-school Arabic language events for their classrooms and school community to supplement their teaching of the Arabic language and about the Arab world.

QFI Teacher Professional Development Grants

Teacher Professional Development (TPD) grants provide up to $2,000 USD (or the equivalent amount in GBP/EUR) for primary and secondary educators currently teaching in public/state-funded schools in North America, the United Kingdom, and Europe. TPDs can be used to participate in high-quality professional development events which improve your ability to teach the Arabic language or about the Arab world.

QFI's Arabic Teacher Training Certification Award

QFI's Arabic Teacher Training Certification Award provides support to prospective certified teachers of Arabic in primary and/or secondary (K-12) public/state-funded schools.

It is designed to help develop an increasing pool of certified teachers of Arabic with a professional teaching background in public/state-funded schools.

QFI's Arabic Speaking Competition 2025

QFI invites students to showcase their skills in the Arabic language by taking part in the 2025-26 Arabic Speaking Competition (ASC). This international competition continues its mission of nurturing the learning of the Arabic language among students while also celebrating their linguistic achievements and creativity.
