Study of Arabic Language Programs (SALP)

The Study of Arabic Language Programs (SALP), a first-of-its-kind research initiative, will map the current landscape of Arabic language education to highlight the realities of Arabic education.
Over the next 16 months, the SALP will:
Contract IIE as Research Lead to oversee the SALP and CLT work
Collect comparable data on Arabic learning programs to understand the current landscape of Arabic teaching and learning
Inform QFI strategic planning and programs to enhance Arabic language learning.
Conduct data collection by dedicated Country-Level Teams (CLTs)

- Ireland: Maynooth University
- Sweden: Reem Kassagby and Louise Backelin
- Canada: Dr. Nesrine Basheer
